A married woman whose brother-in-law forcefully had s.ex had petitioned the Anambra Police Command.
The petition was sent to the state commissioner of police by the woman representative, Chinasa Okoronkwo, a leader of a civil rights group, Human Rights Awareness Initiatives and Road Safety.

After the recepit of the petition, the criminal investigation department, at Akwa, the state capital, said investigation into the alleged rape of thw housewife at a farmland in Umuchu town, Aguata local government area of the state by white garment prophet will commence.
According to the petition, Chinasa is alleging that Prophet Pius Okoronkwo raped her in a farmland where she went to farm after she had escaped incessant sexual harassment by him.

The suspect, the founder of Covenant Sabbath Mission Yaweh Church, with its headquarters at Umuchu, however, denied the allegation and said it was a ploy to blackmail him after sponsoring the marriage between Chinasa his younger brother.
